The old school surfer’s Smoothie Beavertail Jacket that was immensely popular back in the day; a jacket that covers the arms and torso with a beavertail flap that passes through the crotch and fastens to the front with classic nickel plated Twist Lock (as shown) or Hook & Loop closures, to prevent it from riding up on the torso. This jacket can be worn over a Smoothie Farmer John, adding an additional layer of neoprene around the torso.
The Beavertail Jacket is available in 3mm and has a Nylon interior and Smoothie neoprene exterior that sheds water instead of absorbing it as a Nylon would. The Jacket features Raglan sleeves for ease in movement. The seams are glued & blindstitched with with zig-zag hemming. Zippers can be in straight, diagonal or side zipper configurations.
